For 8 years

Asian fusion haircuts
What is your favourite part about your job?
The creativity. Transforming a scruffy dog into a perfect show dog. Achieving perfection and sharpness is my passion.
What is your favourite breed of dog, and why?
I’ll have to say poodles. They have the best coat to achieve any creative haircut, but they are also highly intelligent and people pleasers.
What is your top dog care tip?
Plenty of exercise and attention.
Gemma
How long have you been a dog groomer?
I've been a dog groomer for 24 years.
Do you specialise in anything in particular?
I just love working with older dogs. They need that extra bit of love and attention, and I enjoy being the one to help them be more comfortable.
What is your favourite part about your job?
I adore witnessing the shift from the dog's arrival to their departure and seeing the owners' delight when they collect their beloved pets. It's heartwarming to know their dogs will feel more content and joyful after their grooming session.
What is your favourite breed of dog, and why?
My favourite breed is the Labrador. My family has always had them, and I've grown up around them. I love their silly, soft personalities.
What is your top dog care tip?
Everyday brushing is essential, especially with long/curly-haired dogs, and making sure any mats are out before you wash the dog.

How long have you been a dog groomer?
I was office-based before I found my love of grooming, and ten years on, I've never looked back.
Do you specialise in anything in particular?
As a proud Shih Tzu owner, it would only be appropriate to be one of my grooming specialities. I also love the challenge of grooming unusual crossbreeds.
What is your favourite part about your job?
I have so many favourite customers who make my job so enjoyable. When they walk in, they are all excited to see us.
What is your favourite breed of dog, and why?
My favourite breeds are Shih Tzus, unusual little crossbreeds and Spaniels.
What is your top dog care tip?
It is so important to bring your puppies in early so they can get used to being handled and grow to have an excellent trusting bond with their groomer.
